Shreya de Souza (they/them, Goa, 1995) is interested in and works with manners of knowledge production and sharing, community building, & the wild spaces, disobedience and inclusivity offered by queer modalities of being. In the pandemic state of 2020, they started Queer Choir Amsterdam with artists Mylou Oord and Rah Naqvi, and continue organizing performances, workshops and rehearsal sessions with and for Queer Choir Amsterdam. Through their work they try to navigate their interests, humor, and the intersections of Goan, Indian, Middle Eastern, and Portuguese influences that inform their culture.
